What began as an idea to boost our local economy during the holiday season has grown into one of the Top 10 Dickens Festivals in the WORLD! Our community is incredibly proud of this beloved annual event, now entering its 23rd year. The Carlyle Dickens Village Festival is made possible through a bi-annual rummage sale, the generous support of local businesses and organizations, and an army of dedicated volunteers who help bring the charm and spirit of the Victorian era to life in the heart of Carlyle.
The first weekend in December is always a truly special time in Carlyle, and we welcome everyone to come experience the magic! As you stroll down Main Street, you’ll hear holiday music in the air, the clip-clop of horses giving carriage rides, and the cheerful voices of carolers.
