What began as an idea to boost our local economy during the holiday season has grown into one of the Top 10 Dickens Festivals in the WORLD! The Carlyle Dickens Village Festival is made possible through a bi-annual rummage sale, the generous support of local businesses and organizations, and an army of dedicated volunteers who help bring the charm and spirit of the Victorian era to life in the heart of Carlyle.
As you stroll down Main Street, you’ll hear holiday music in the air, the clip-clop of horses giving carriage rides, and the cheerful voices of carolers. The streets come alive with costumed characters, twinkling lights, and the irresistible aromas drifting from our food vendors. The holiday spirit is undeniable—and it sweeps up everyone who attends.
